The best public transportation option is taking the metro. Dubai has two main metro lines, red and green and the Red Line services the airport. There are also few bus routes that operate from dedicated stands at Arrivals in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and connect with city center. Our hotel was just 2 stops away. A ticket cost us 5 AED.
