Welcome to our travel blog,

We are Angela and Gabriel from British Columbia, Canada, a couple passionate about traveling, discovering new places and learning from each of our trips. While enjoying our jobs, we loved to travel but it was limited to how many days of vacation we had so we tried to squeeze as many as possible trips in a year. This always comes to a higher cost because the flights or accommodation might not be the cheapest on the assigned vacation dates so you will not get the best deals for your adventures. Therefore, long time ago we started preparing to retire early and be able to travel more, less costly.

We retired in 2021 and started booking vacations based on what good deals we found rather than going to a specific country or place, all this in order to maximize the value for our money and thus being able to travel more with limited financial resources. We consider ourselves budget travelers and we always look for cheaper flights, the best price and convenience for accommodation but at the same time we don’t shy away from paying for attractions  and experiences that will leave us with lifetime memories.

We enjoy all types of traveling from exploring cities, hiking in the mountains and national parks or basking in the sun on relaxing Caribbean trips.

Through this blog we would like to document and share our adventures, tips about things we learned from each trip and things we wished we knew before traveling. We hope it will instill confidence in other people that traveling is for everybody regardless of destination or budget.
